General Paz

Córdoba's traditional leafy barrio, settled, family-oriented General Paz just east of the centre: good-value, stable residential living

About General Paz

General Paz is one of Córdoba's most traditional residential barrios, a leafy, settled middle-to-upper-middle-class district just east of the centre, with tree-lined streets, neighbourhood plazas and churches, the commercial Avenida 24 de Septiembre, and a strong local identity. It is walkable, family-oriented and good value. For investors, General Paz is a value-and-stability play: central, leafy family living at lower US-dollar prices than the student or tourist barrios, with steady long-let demand and solid gross yields of ~4.5–6% at lower volatility. As across Argentina, property is transacted in physical dollars, and the Milei-era reforms support the recovery. Foreigners buy urban property on equal terms; there is no golden visa, though the rentista visa supports residency.
