About Diplomatic Quarter

The Diplomatic Quarter (DQ) is Riyadh's most uniquely planned residential district, a 1,600-hectare gated, master-planned area west of central Riyadh that houses all major embassies, the Diplomatic Quarter Park, and a self-contained community of senior expatriate families. The DQ is the most family-friendly and most international-living district in Saudi Arabia. Residential prices run SAR 6,500-11,000 per square metre with gross yields of 5.5-6.8%. The market is dominated by villa compounds and modern apartments specifically designed for expatriate families, with strict access control. Lifestyle is exceptional for Riyadh: extensive green space, family parks, international schools (KFAS, BISR, ASR), and a calm, quiet environment unlike the rest of the city. Limited public transit; DQ residents are car-dependent.
